Histopathology

Histology is the study of human tissues in order to diagnose a disease or pathological condition. It involves the dissection and chemical preparation of the tissue in order that ultra thin slices of tissue can be cut, mounted onto glass slides, stained, and the diagnosis made by careful examination by a highly skilled and experienced histopathologist.

 

Opening times

• The department is open from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm.

• No on call, weekend, or out of hours service is currently available.
